The three things people get wrong most often
Fall protection. A harness in a boom lift, guardrails in a scissor lift. Crews routinely apply each rule to the wrong machine, and the version that matters is the one on the boom.
Training is the employer's job. Renting a machine does not transfer the obligation to train and evaluate operators, and a ten-minute walkaround from a delivery driver is not training.
The ground. A freshly graded pad looks finished and behaves nothing like it. This is the reason most wrong machines get sent to Texas jobsites.
